Texas Pete® Wings
  • INGREDIENTS:
  • 2 1/2 lbs. (12-15) whole chicken wings or (24-30) split wing pieces
  • 3 Tablespoons Texas Pete® Hot Sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons butter or margarine
  • PREPARATION:
  • Cut whole wings at joints. Discard wing tips. Place the 24 to 30 pieces on absorbent paper to dry. To cook, choose one of the following methods.
  • DEEP FAT FRY:
    • 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until crispy
  • OVEN BAKE:
    • Spread wings in single layer on sheet pan. Bake at 450 degrees for 35 minutes or until done.

  • Melt 2 tablespoons of butter/margarine in a sauce pan, add 3 tablespoons Texas Pete® Hot Sauce, or more to taste, stir well.
  • To coat, place cooked wings and blended sauce in large covered bowl. Shake gently.
  • To serve, use tongs, slotted spoon to place wings on plate. Serve with celery sticks and Blue Cheese Dressing.
