POMODORO PIZZA
Texas Pete® Pomodoro Pizza

Procedure
Olive oil
Kosher Salt
1 T. / 0.5 oz.
½ tsp. / 0.08 oz.
Brush pizza crust with olive oil. Sprinkle with salt.
Pizza sauce
Texas Pete Wing® Sauce
Roasted garlic, minced
Pizza crust, 12"
½ cup / 4 oz.
1 T. / 0.5 oz.
1 T. / 0.5 oz.
1 each / 12 oz.
Mix pizza sauce with Texas Pete® and roasted garlic. Ladle over pizza crust.
Marinated Tomatoes:
Texas Pete® Wing Sauce
Balsamic vinegar
Plum tomatoes, sliced thin
Basil, fresh, chiffonade

1 T. / 0.5 oz.
2 T. / 1 oz.
12 each / 5 oz.
¼ cup / 0.1 oz.
Mix Texas Pete together with vinegar. Add tomatoes and toss gently to coat. Place marinated tomatoes and basil over surface of pizza.
Mozzarella cheese, shredded
Parmesan, shredded
1 ½ cups / 6 oz.
½ cups / 1.3 oz.
Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and grated parmesan. Bake pizza as usual or according to pizza crust directions.
 
Yield: One 12" pizza
